MyView SEO is referred to as “MyView,” “we,” “us,” and “our.” “You” and “your” mean the accepting business and, where appropriate, its authorized representative. Contact: support@myviewseo.com.
Please read these Terms before agreeing. MyView provides website checks, monitoring, reports, and related services described in your accepted order. AI-assisted features, where used, can assist with analysis. Findings can contain errors or omissions and require review. Monitoring does not include website repairs unless separately agreed. Paid subscriptions renew as disclosed at checkout until canceled. Sections 25–27 address warranties, liability, and certain third-party claims.
1. Agreement and prospective application
These Terms become part of your agreement with MyView when you affirmatively accept them through a clearly identified agreement control or a written agreement that incorporates this version. The applicable accepted order and any expressly incorporated service schedule are also part of that agreement. “Service” means the MyView functionality or work covered by that agreement.
Publication alone does not establish that you accepted this version. Existing customers are not deemed to have accepted it merely because the publication date changed. Earlier transactions remain subject to the agreement applicable to them unless a valid amendment applies. Your acceptance of this version operates prospectively and does not release existing claims or rewrite earlier consent records.
You may download or print these Terms for your records. Our Privacy Policy explains personal-information practices; acknowledging that notice is not blanket permission for unrelated processing.
2. Business eligibility and authority
The Service is offered for United States business use by people at least 18 years old who have legal capacity to contract. It is not intended for children or personal, family, or household subscriptions. You represent that the business and account information you provide is accurate and that you have authority to bind the identified business.
If you act for a client or another business, obtain the permissions necessary for the requested activity. Creating an account or providing a public website address does not establish ownership of that website or give you control over its accounts.
3. Orders, plans, and included features
An “accepted order” is the plan and purchase information presented when you authorize a purchase, or a separate written order accepted by both parties. It identifies the relevant price, billing interval, website, monitoring frequency, limits, and included services. Each paid monitoring order covers one assigned website, unless that order expressly provides otherwise. An account or workspace does not itself purchase monitoring for additional websites.
An accepted order controls an express conflict about its scope, price, or delivery commitments. These Terms govern other matters unless an accepted written agreement expressly changes them. Descriptions of possible future functionality do not make that functionality part of an existing purchase. Current marketing or pricing pages do not retroactively replace the order you accepted.
4. Public website checks and free scans
A public scan examines a limited set of publicly accessible pages, responses, markup, and other observable signals. It is a read-only review of those materials, not authorization to enter an administrative area, bypass access controls, or change the website.
A free scan may sample fewer pages, run fewer checks, or provide less history than a paid plan. A scan of a homepage is not a full-site audit. Coverage depends on the features used and the pages successfully reached. Blocks, redirects, timeouts, unsupported content, or other restrictions may prevent a check from finishing.
Requesting a free scan does not itself authorize a subscription, payment, or remediation work. Any paid purchase requires the separate authorization presented for that purchase.
5. Monitoring frequency and coverage
Paid monitoring performs the checks included in your order at its stated frequency, subject to the operational limitations explained here. Scheduled monitoring is not continuous observation unless your order expressly includes it. An issue can arise and disappear between checks, or remain undetected because the affected page or condition was outside the scan.
Reports describe observations at the time of collection. They may not reflect later changes, different visitors, personalized content, devices, locations, or authenticated areas. “No issue detected” means the completed checks did not identify that issue in the examined material; it does not certify that no issue exists.
Review the report’s scope, timestamps, limitations, and unavailable checks. Contact support about inconsistent results or missing included reports so we can assess the problem.
6. Artificial intelligence and automated findings
MyView uses automated rules and may use artificial intelligence to interpret information, summarize findings, prioritize potential issues, or suggest actions where those features are provided. Not every measurement is generated by AI, and the presence of a measured value does not make an accompanying AI interpretation verified.
AI-assisted output may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, internally inconsistent, or inappropriate for your circumstances. It may identify a problem that is not present, miss a real problem, misunderstand content, or suggest an unsuitable change. Similar inputs can produce different wording or recommendations. A confident explanation is not proof of accuracy.
Treat generated recommendations as material for review, not an instruction that must be followed. Check the cited evidence, relevant platform guidance, and your website’s actual configuration. Use a qualified person for decisions requiring specialist judgment. Do not rely solely on MyView output to approve significant spending, delete content, change critical systems, or make legal or other regulated decisions.
These limitations do not authorize MyView to misrepresent completed checks, fabricate evidence, or disregard the express commitments in your order.
7. Methods, scores, and third-party measurements
Scores, severity labels, and priorities are MyView assessments based on the methods and available inputs used for that report. They are not official search-engine scores, legal certifications, or universal measures of website quality. A methodology change may affect comparisons over time; compare the underlying findings as well as the headline score.
Some features use Google measurements or information from other providers. These inputs may be delayed, sampled, estimated, unavailable, or subject to the provider’s collection methods and terms. External reports can differ without either report describing the entire website experience.
MyView is independent of Google and other search engines, AI providers, hosting companies, and agencies unless a specific relationship is expressly identified. Using their tools, measurements, or names does not imply endorsement, certification, partnership, or access to confidential ranking systems. Third parties control their own services and policies.
8. Outcomes and professional limitations
MyView does not guarantee rankings, indexing, search visibility, inclusion in AI answers, traffic, lead volume, conversions, revenue, profit, or return on investment. These outcomes depend on many factors, including competitors, market conditions, website execution, and decisions by platforms MyView does not control. An improved report score does not guarantee a business outcome.
The Service does not provide legal, accounting, financial, or other licensed professional advice. Unless an accepted order specifically provides a separately qualified assessment, it is not a penetration test, comprehensive security audit, accessibility certification, or determination of compliance with law or an industry standard. Technical observations that may relate to these subjects are not a substitute for the appropriate review.
Examples and case studies illustrate particular circumstances. They do not establish typical or promised results for your business. Any express guarantee in an accepted offer remains subject to its disclosed terms and applicable law.
9. Reviewing and implementing recommendations
You decide whether and how to act on a report. Before making changes, verify the finding, confirm that the recommendation suits your technology and business, and consider dependencies such as advertising, analytics, accessibility, integrations, and existing content. Use backups, testing, and a recovery plan appropriate to the proposed change.
You are responsible for actions taken by you or the providers you engage. A report does not authorize MyView to alter DNS, hosting, content, redirects, code, accounts, or business listings. Permission for one change is not unlimited permission for further changes.
If MyView separately agrees to perform work, the accepted scope determines our responsibilities. This section does not transfer responsibility for MyView’s own contracted work to you or excuse a failure to follow the authorization you actually gave.
10. Optional fixes and separate implementation work
Monitoring and reporting do not include remediation, development, content production, paid advertising, or other implementation unless the accepted order expressly includes that work. Optional fixes may be quoted starting at $499. “Starting at” is an entry price, not a promise that every issue or website can be repaired for that amount.
Before work begins, the separate quote or order should identify the requested outcome, included tasks, exclusions, access requirements, price, payment milestones, and any relevant acceptance or support period. Scope or price changes require separate approval. Scanning a site, requesting a quote, or clicking to learn about a repair does not authorize a charge or permit implementation.
Fixing an identified condition does not guarantee that it will never recur or that a search engine or other third party will produce a particular result.
11. Website permissions and submitted information
You must have the rights and permissions reasonably necessary to submit information and request the particular Service. For private information, integrations, or implementation, obtain authorization from the relevant owner or administrator. Do not submit stolen credentials, confidential material you cannot lawfully share, or instructions to evade a website’s access restrictions.
Keep contact details and the assigned website accurate. Tell us promptly if your authority ends or a transfer affects your use. We may reasonably verify instructions affecting another person’s data or account.
Do not upload payment-card numbers, government identification numbers, health records, or other sensitive personal information into ordinary scan or support fields. If a task appears to require sensitive information, contact support before submitting it.
12. Accounts and authorized users
Protect account access links, passwords, and integration credentials. Do not share access tokens publicly or use another person’s account without permission. You are responsible for administering the users you authorize and promptly removing access when their role ends.
Notify support when you reasonably suspect unauthorized access or misuse. We may take proportionate measures to protect the account, including verification or temporary restriction of an affected feature. Account-security measures should not unnecessarily prevent a legitimate customer from requesting cancellation.
A business administrator’s authorized actions can affect the business account. We may rely on instructions reasonably attributable to an authorized user, subject to appropriate verification for sensitive actions. You are not made responsible by this section for unauthorized activity caused by MyView’s own failure to meet its obligations.
13. Acceptable use
Do not use the Service to break the law, infringe others’ rights, distribute malicious code, harass people, or misrepresent your identity or authority. Do not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with service operation, replay authorization tokens, bypass payment or usage controls, or create unreasonable load.
Do not systematically extract or reconstruct nonpublic MyView software, rule sets, or proprietary systems through automated abuse. Do not use the Service as a platform for invasive testing of someone else’s systems or for collecting personal information unlawfully. Restrictions on reverse engineering apply only to the extent permitted by law.
These restrictions do not prevent review of your reports, lawful criticism, independent analysis, or sharing permitted in section 15. Report suspected security issues to support without accessing other customers’ information.
14. Customer content and limited permission
You retain your rights in the websites, content, business information, and other materials you provide or authorize us to access. You grant MyView a limited, nonexclusive permission to access, copy, process, and display those materials as reasonably necessary to provide your Service, maintain its security, resolve support issues, and meet applicable legal obligations.
We may permit service providers acting for us to perform those activities for those purposes, subject to appropriate contractual restrictions. This permission does not transfer ownership, authorize selling your confidential content, or grant permission to train general-purpose AI models on your private submissions.
Processing remains subject to the Privacy Notice and any applicable data-processing agreement. After the relationship ends, continued retention or processing must have a permitted purpose, such as an applicable legal obligation, dispute record, or limited backup retention described in the relevant policy.
15. Reports, exports, and sharing with advisers
For reports lawfully supplied to you, MyView gives you permission to use, retain, reproduce, and share them for evaluating and managing your business or the authorized client relationship. You may share them with your staff, developer, agency, accountant, lawyer, other advisers, or an AI service you choose, including ChatGPT, to obtain a second opinion or explanation.
Check the recipient’s privacy practices and your rights before sharing confidential information or third-party material. MyView does not control another provider’s processing merely because you send it a report. Preserve material scope limitations, dates, and qualifications when sharing findings so that the report is not misleading.
You may quote or publish accurate findings you are entitled to disclose. Do not falsely imply MyView endorsed an altered report or issued a certification. Selling access to the MyView platform or operating a separate report-resale service requires an agreed arrangement; ordinary sharing of your report does not.
16. MyView and third-party intellectual property
MyView and its licensors retain rights in the platform, software, branding, original templates, and other protected materials, except for the permissions expressly granted here. Rights are claimed only to the extent they exist under applicable law. We do not claim ownership of your website, independently existing facts, or third-party materials through a scan.
During an authorized subscription, you may use the Service for its purchased business purpose. You may not pass off MyView branding as your own or imply a partnership without permission. Report-sharing rights in section 15 continue for reports already lawfully provided, subject to these Terms.
Report suspected infringement to support, identifying the material and the basis of your concern. We may request further information to evaluate it.
17. Privacy and data responsibilities
The Privacy Policy describes MyView’s personal-information practices and available choices. These Terms do not replace legally required privacy notices or consent or expand processing beyond applicable notices and binding commitments.
MyView may act independently in handling account administration, billing, security, and its own business records. Where we process personal information solely on your business’s behalf, applicable law and agreed data-processing terms determine the parties’ roles and obligations.
You are responsible for lawful instructions and any notices or permissions your business must provide for the information it submits. MyView remains responsible for its own applicable obligations. Contact support before using the Service for a processing arrangement that requires additional contractual terms or safeguards.
18. Confidentiality
Each party will use the other’s nonpublic business information received through the relationship only to perform or receive the Service, administer the relationship, or exercise a legitimate right under the agreement. Each will take reasonable care against unauthorized disclosure and limit access to people or providers who need it and are subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations.
This obligation does not cover information that becomes public without a breach, was already lawfully known, is independently developed, or is lawfully received without a confidentiality restriction. Public website content is not made confidential merely because a scan examines it.
A party may disclose information when legally required, giving advance notice where lawful and reasonably practicable and limiting disclosure to what is required. Customer sharing expressly permitted by section 15 remains allowed, subject to the customer’s rights and responsibilities. Confidentiality continues after termination while the information remains confidential; legally protected trade secrets retain their protection for the period provided by law.
19. Prices, payment authorization, and additional charges
Your accepted order states the subscription price, currency, billing interval, and any disclosed taxes or mandatory charges. By authorizing that purchase and its separately disclosed recurring-payment terms, you authorize the agreed initial charge and renewals until canceled. Providing an email address or requesting a free scan is not payment authorization.
Maintain valid billing information through the secure billing tools. Payment processing may be provided by a third party under the terms applicable to that payment method. Do not email full card details or passwords.
MyView does not automatically bill unapproved overages, extra websites, repairs, or other additional work. An upgrade or other purchase requires approval of the associated charge and any immediate proration. If an included limit is reached, we may restrict the affected feature and offer additional scope rather than charge without authorization.
20. Renewal, cancellation, and paid-period access
Monthly subscriptions renew monthly and annual subscriptions renew annually, as shown in your accepted order, unless canceled before the next renewal. An annual subscription is billed for the purchased annual term unless the order expressly states a different arrangement. Trial and promotional conversion terms apply only if specifically disclosed and accepted.
You may cancel through the billing portal available through owner access, or request cancellation at support@myviewseo.com. Include enough information to locate the account, ordinarily its email and website, without sending credentials or card numbers. If access is unavailable, use support; lack of portal access does not eliminate your ability to cancel.
Cancellation stops future renewal. Paid access continues through the current paid billing period, subject to a different accepted order or a permitted suspension or termination under section 24. The confirmation will identify the effective date. A timely, verifiable support request is not made late by our processing delay. Cancellation does not require accepting revised Terms, another purchase, or an explanation.
21. Refunds, payment failures, and billing questions
Except where law requires otherwise or an accepted offer expressly provides otherwise, charges already paid for an authorized subscription are nonrefundable, and cancellation does not create a prorated refund for the remaining purchased period. This policy does not override remedies for unauthorized or erroneous charges, MyView’s material breach, or the convenience-termination refund in section 24.
If a payment fails, we may retry it within the authorized payment arrangement and notify you. We may pause affected paid features while a valid charge remains unpaid. A failed payment is not treated as a completed paid renewal. Retrying an authorized unpaid charge does not authorize a new service or defeat a valid cancellation.
Contact support promptly about a billing problem so we can investigate and correct errors. Nothing here requires you to waive rights provided by your bank, payment network, or applicable law, or imposes a shortened deadline for exercising them.
22. Founding rates, plan limits, and future changes
If your order includes a locked Founding Member rate, that rate remains associated with the continuously active eligible subscription described in that offer. Eligibility is governed by the conditions disclosed when you accepted it. Where that offer includes the existing conditions concerning cancellation, termination for cause, an ineligible plan, or a material change to the subscribed site or account, those conditions continue to govern. This version does not add new disqualifications to an existing locked-rate promise. Reactivation after eligibility ends may use then-current pricing, disclosed before purchase.
Plan limits are those accepted for the relevant order. We may offer different plans or pricing for future purchases. Changes to an existing subscription require appropriate advance notice and any legally necessary consent; paid-period charges are not increased retroactively. Applicable renewal, promotional-expiration, fee-change, and cancellation notices remain required. A general pricing-change provision does not override an applicable locked-rate commitment.
23. Availability, support, and operational interruptions
We will use reasonable care to provide the purchased Service and address reported service problems. Performance may be affected by maintenance, connectivity, website restrictions, provider interruptions, or other conditions. Unless your accepted order expressly includes a service-level commitment, no particular response time, uninterrupted availability, or uptime percentage is promised.
We may make reasonable operational or security changes. Those changes do not authorize us to silently withdraw material functionality already purchased without an appropriate response under the agreement and applicable law. If an interruption prevents delivery of a material paid commitment, contact support so we can address the failure and available remedies.
Keep independent copies of reports or information your business needs. MyView is not a substitute for website backup or disaster recovery. Events outside a party’s reasonable control do not excuse its obligations to protect information, communicate reasonably, or honor valid cancellation requests.
24. Suspension, termination, and exit
We may proportionately restrict affected access for a material breach, nonpayment, credible security threat, unlawful activity, or a legal requirement. When feasible, we will give notice of the reason and a reasonable opportunity to correct the problem before termination. Immediate action may be appropriate where delay would create material harm or violate law. Restrictions should be limited to what the situation reasonably requires.
Either party may terminate for an uncured material breach after reasonable written notice and opportunity to cure where cure is possible. We may also discontinue an ongoing paid subscription for convenience with reasonable notice; in that case, we will refund prepaid subscription fees for the unused period we will not provide. Mandatory remedies remain available.
Termination ends access when stated in the confirmation or notice. Keep needed exports before access ends where reasonably possible. Valid cancellation methods remain available during restrictions. Provisions reasonably intended to survive, including permitted report use, confidentiality, accrued payment obligations, and applicable liability terms, survive termination.
25. Warranties and their limits
MyView will use reasonable care and skill in providing the Service and honor the express commitments in the accepted order. You must provide lawful instructions and the permissions required for your requested use.
Except for those express commitments and rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, the Service and its reports are provided as available, without additional warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. We do not warrant that every error will be found or that every recommendation will suit your circumstances.
These limitations do not negate an express promise we made in your accepted offer, excuse deceptive statements, or remove a remedy that applicable law preserves. If part of this disclaimer is prohibited, it applies only to the permitted extent.
26. Allocation and limits of liability
To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable to the other for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, or lost profits, revenue, business opportunities, goodwill, or expected savings, arising from the agreement or Service. This allocation applies regardless of the legal theory or whether such loss was foreseeable.
For claims arising from the same event or related events, MyView’s total liability will not exceed the greater of US$100 or the total fees paid or payable under directly affected orders during the 12 months before the first event giving rise to those claims. For an incident affecting multiple ordered websites or Services, combine the affected orders’ fees. Multiple claims from the same or related events share that cap; unrelated incidents are calculated separately.
Neither the damage exclusions nor the cap applies to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or liability that applicable law does not permit to be limited or excluded. They do not eliminate an expressly owed refund or your obligation to pay properly authorized charges. They do not restrict nonwaivable statutory rights. These provisions allocate ordinary commercial risk in light of the purchased scope and price; they are not permission to disregard our obligations.
27. Limited protection against third-party claims
You will defend MyView against a third-party claim, and pay covered amounts finally awarded or included in an approved settlement, to the extent the claim results from content you supplied unlawfully, your lack of authority for access or work you requested, or your intentional misuse of the Service in violation of section 13. Covered amounts include reasonable legal defense costs.
This obligation does not cover a claim to the extent caused by MyView’s breach, unlawful conduct, unauthorized changes, or use beyond permitted instructions, or arise merely from disagreement with a report or ordinary good-faith use. Covered defense costs, third-party awards, and approved settlements remain payable despite section 26’s exclusion of damages between the parties; this does not expand the covered conduct.
We must give prompt notice, with delay reducing your obligation only to the extent it materially prejudices the defense, provide reasonable cooperation at your expense, and allow you to control the defense with competent counsel. You may not settle in a way that admits fault, imposes nonmonetary duties, or fails to release MyView without our reasonable consent. We may participate with our own counsel at our expense.
28. Resolving disputes
Before filing an ordinary contract claim, each party agrees to notify the other of the concern and make a good-faith effort to resolve it for up to 30 days. Notices should identify the account, relevant facts, and requested resolution. Contact MyView at support@myviewseo.com.
This process does not shorten a legal limitation period, require delaying a filing needed to preserve rights, or prevent urgent relief, a regulator complaint, or available payment-dispute rights. Neither party is required to accept a settlement.
Applicable law determines the governing substantive law and the courts with jurisdiction. Disputes may be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction. These Terms do not impose mandatory arbitration, a class-action waiver, or an exclusive state or county venue.
29. Notices and changes to these Terms
We may send account, billing, service, and legal notices to the contact information associated with your account and through appropriate account tools. Keep that information current. Required disclosures must still be delivered in the manner and at the time applicable law requires. Marketing permissions and unsubscribe choices are handled separately from contractual acceptance.
We may propose updated Terms, identifying their version, intended effective date, and material changes. Replacement contractual Terms apply prospectively only upon your affirmative acceptance or a written amendment accepted by both parties. Notices implementing an existing agreement, such as its authorized renewal, do not themselves establish acceptance of replacement Terms.
If you decline proposed Terms, you may cancel and retain the benefit of existing paid-period commitments unless another valid basis permits earlier termination. Changes do not apply retroactively to an existing dispute or waive accrued rights merely because a new version is posted.
30. General provisions and contact
The accepted order, these accepted Terms, and expressly incorporated agreements govern the covered Service without canceling rights arising from fraud or an express accepted promise. A separately executed data-processing agreement controls an express conflict about its covered processing.
The parties remain independent businesses. Neither may bind the other as an agent without separate authority. Neither party may transfer the agreement in a manner that materially reduces the other’s contractual protections without consent, except as applicable law otherwise permits. A failure to exercise a right promptly is not itself a permanent waiver.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent they can operate lawfully and consistently with the agreement’s purpose. No provision is intended to exclude a right that cannot lawfully be waived.
